These really get on my nerves, yeah they keep you dry but they are so big they practically pull you into orbit! If anyone is walking in front of you with a bright orange golf umbrella with Advatex Investments or some such rubbish on it they talk up the entire path forcing you onto the road which given the fact that its raining and wet is not good.
That’s not the worst part though this is if two people are walking towards each other with the same size umbrella on a narrow road, its like watching a game of chicken to see who moves their umbrella first and is prepared to get wet!
The only good thing about these umbrellas is that they are usually kicking about in pubs when its chucking it down and you can nab one from someone and as nobody actually pays for these things nobody really cares that they have gone, they’ll just nab another!
