Yes but we ARE overcharged on everything else. Not having to pay car tax (we still pay VAT) is one of the little perks that we take for granted these days on this island. When your only options, like the above, are to be overcharged then not paying car tax is not enough. House prices on this island are the same. For a house that you would pay 100k in the mainland for you would pay 400k in Jersey for.

We still have to pay tax, the only thing we get off lightly on is VAT. Taking into account house prices are roughly 3-9 times more expensive than the UK market, parking is a serious concern with people paying around 80-130 pounds per month per space and the little things in life like bread and milk (litre) are a pound each! …… Outrageous!!
