Would you believe it, the people over at Pcworld.com have gone and installed Windows XP on an Intel Mac! What’s this world coming to?
In light of this, I’m definitely in favour of this conversion because right now the Apple Intel Macs use an emulator for most software and because of this certain software we know and love is starting to suffer. Thank god I purchased mine before they put the Intel chip in! In true BSOD style, I found this following video hillarious:
They have converted 100gb of its 250gb harddrive as a Windows XP partition which is large enough to house an installation of Windows (well, barely) and there have been no hitches. Fair play to them though, if you need applications that run on a Windows system and an Apple system it makes sense to partition an Apple, they’re the stylish of the pair.
